A garage is often a space that we don’t think about until we need it. It’s a place where we stash our bikes, keep the lawnmower, and even store our Christmas decorations. But how do you organize a garage? What furniture do you put in a garage?
Furniture for your garage should be utilitarian and durable, but also comfortable and attractive.
You’ll want to consider how much storage space you have, as well as how much room you have for seating. If you have a lot of storage space, then perhaps an entertainment center would be appropriate; if not, then maybe a table with chairs would be better.
If you’re storing tools or other heavy items in your garage, then make sure that any furniture has wheels so that it can be easily moved around. And if you’re storing bikes or other sporting equipment that needs to be kept out of the way when not in use, consider placing them on a wall mounted rack or shelf system instead of putting them on the ground where they’ll get dirty or rusted over time.
