We know you want to make sure that your purchase is going to last for years and years, so we’re here to help. We’ve put together a list of some of our favorite pieces, as well as some tips for how to keep your furniture looking great for longer.
First things first: when it comes to furniture, you really get what you pay for. In other words, if you see two pieces you like equally well but one is priced higher than the other, chances are it’s going to be of better quality than the cheaper option. This doesn’t mean you should only buy expensive things—just be aware that lower-priced items may not last as long or will need replacing sooner than more expensive ones would have required.
Additionally, we recommend that all pieces be treated with an upholstery protector before they’re used regularly (or at all). This will protect against stains and spills while keeping them looking fresh and new!
We also advise against buying furniture that’s already been used. You don’t know what the previous owners did with it, and even if you do, it’s impossible to tell how much wear and tear they put on it (or how good of a job they did cleaning it). There are plenty of new pieces out there, so why not start fresh?
