GatherCraft’s owner, Mark Hudson, explains that GatherCraft originally started as a trading company and later graduated to be product-producing. The company had such a humble start that it didn’t actually begin with a collection. Hudson says, “We were such a small company that there were no ‘collections’. The first products I began producing were just plain sling chairs. No dining or end tables to accompany them. Sling chairs were the beginning of what GatherCraft is today.” Sling chairs were the start of GatherCraft.
